Our theme this year is ‘Anything Goes!’ There will be two free family workshop days on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July. These will be held in front of Quay House from 12 noon – 4 p.m. on both days, so this is your chance to create a lantern.

Also, anyone of any age can make their own lantern on this year’s theme and join in the parade on Wednesday 19th July. Lanterns should be lit by battery-operated lights – safety lights will be available to purchase from Occasional Cards/Streamers in Fore Street, Kingsbridge. Please remember that you or your child will have to carry the lantern
from the top of town car park to the Town Square, so do watch the weight.

There will be some spare lanterns available for children to carry – first come, first served. This event continues to grow with around 7 large lanterns and many smaller ones, and who knows what will be created in the weekend workshops. We have one corporate sponsor, The Start Bay Inn. We very much appreciate their support and their participation in the parade.
